Brem Foundation, AvalonBay, and Women’s History Month - a Conversation

“At the end of the day, you are your best advocate. Whether it's integrating different aspects of life with work and family or whether it's your health — breast health or any other health — I think it's important to be empowered and to advocate for yourself and to realize that it could really be life saving.” Dr. Rachel Brem

In the spirit of this year’s Women’s History Month theme “Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope”, our Women’s Leadership Network hosted a fireside chat with Dr. Rachel Brem, of the Brem Foundation and her daughter, Alisa Brem Rosenberg, a real estate developer. Dr. Brem and Alisa shared with our associates an intimate conversation about their experiences that influenced and shaped their outlook as women, on motherhood and the importance of balancing health/wellness, family and careers. They also delivered important messages on the importance of breast health education and access to breast cancer screening. To learn more about the Brem Foundation, visit bremfoundation.org
